Aaron Franklin's Hot Luck Food and Music Fest - Hi, How Are You?

Aaron Franklin's Second Annual Hot Luck Food and Music Fest took place in Austin, Texas over four days,  May 24 - 27, 2018.


Hot Luck is the latest food festival to hit ATX. It was created and founded by James Beard award-winning chef (and local barbeque pitmaster) Aaron Franklin, Mohawk nightclub owner James Moody, and Feast Portland co-founder Mike Thelin. The fest featured chefs from Austin and around the country grilling up some of their latest creations as well as other specialities. A portion of the proceeds from the festival benefitted The SAFE Alliance.

Hi, How Are You? -  Thursday, May 24 - Franklin's BBQ

The opening event of the fest took place at the world famous Franklin's Barbecue. Along with the festival's host Aaron Franklin and Franklin's Barbecue,  guests sampled culinary treats from Billy Durney of Hometown Bar-B-Que, Laura Aidan of Prohibition Creamery, and Sam Jones of Sam Jones Barbecue.
