Covering the Limelight in ATX

Country music fans were thrilled when the Outlaw Music Fest chose Austin as its first tour stop on August 22, 2021. The festival took place at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater at the Circuit of the Americas racetrack. The Outlaw Music Fest has a rotating lineup of excellent country acts with Willie Nelson and Family headlining each stop. In addition to Willie and Family, for this first stop, fans were treated to music from Chris Stapleton, Ryan Bingham, and Yola. Country superstar Chris Stapleton taped his first ever episode of the PBS hit show Austin City Limits on October 23, 2017, and Limelight Imaging was honored to be there to capture all of the excitement. ACL is the longest running music program on television. It has been awarded the Presidential Medal of the Arts, and was recognized as one of the 10 most influential music programs of all time by Time magazine. The pilot for the show was taped on October 17, 1974, and starred the not-quite-as-famous-then-as-now country star Willie Nelson. Country music ruled the night on August 13, 2016, as the Hank Williams Jr. and Chris Stapleton Summer tour took to the stage for a sold out show at the Austin360 Amphitheater at the Circuit Of The Americas.
