The 6th Annual Austin Originals benefit concert featuring Asleep At The Wheel took place at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater on August 19, 2017.  The event, which featured a dinner, auction, and concert, benefited the Austin Child Guidance Center, a local nonprofit dedicated to improving the mental health of children and their families in the Central Texas area for over 66 years. After a dinner provided by several Austin area restaurants, guests participated in a live auction with one of a kind items including an autographed Ricky Williams football jersey, Willie Nelson memorabilia, a special Austin themed sports package, a Formula One race and concert package, and several exotic vacation packages including dove hunting in Argentina. Homegrown Austin radio station Sun Radio presented local favorites Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis, along with more Austin favorites, Ray Benson and Dale Watson on June 16, 2017 at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater. Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis might be Americana Music's coolest couple, and they're actually married.  Both had already established themselves as successful country acts before they met in 1992 and continued to perform separately after their marriage in 1996. Now, after four kids and three duet albums including one of Christmas music, Bruce and Kelly are touring the country as a team. Bruce Robison Music runs deep in the Robison family. Bruce Robison grew up in Bandera, Texas with his sister Robyn Ludwick and brother Charlie Robison, both of whom are also accomplished singer-songwriters. Full Moon Full Life Benefit Concert On Tuesday, May 20, 2014, country stars Jamey Johnson, Jessi Colter, and Shooter Jennings headlined the first annual Full Moon Full Life concert in Austin, Texas. The concert, held at The Backyard Live Oak Amphitheater, was a benefit for the Nikki Mitchell foundation, which is working to aid in the prevention, detection, and cure of pancreatic cancer. The theme of the event was "A Night Of Influence: A Celebration of Waylon Jennings and Hank Cochran. The 11th annual Austin City Limits Music Festival took over the 350 acre Zilker Park in the heart of South Austin, Texas for three days of incredible fun from Oct 12 through 14, 2012. The Fest included everything you would expect to find in a music festival held in the “Live Music Capital of the World” including culinary specialties and libations from thirty of Austin’s most unique establishments; fashionable clothing, fine art, and iconic souvenirs from a plethora of local artisans; a farmer’s market; and over 130 incredible musical acts. ACL Festival takes over Zilker Park in downtown Austin, Texas, USA. The acts were distributed throughout the park on eight individual stages for eleven hours each day.
