Billy Gibbons and The BFG's Rock ACL - Live

ZZ Top's front man, Billy Gibbons,  has a new project, Billy Gibbons and the BFG's. Billy and the band stopped by Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater on December 4, 2015, as part of their first tour in support of their first album, Perfectamundo.

The sound of Gibbons' new band is a definite departure from ZZ Top's Texas-flavored bluesy Rock. With this new album, Gibbons and his band bring us new tunes with an Afro-Cuban flair. Billy found inspiration at an early age when his father sent him to New York to learn Latin percussion from one of the greats, Mambo King, Tito Puente.

Joining Gibbons on stage with the BFG's are his friend and musical collaborator, Martin "G.G." Guigui on piano and keys, Mike Flanigin on organ, percussionist Alex "Guitarzza" Garza, and drummers SoZo and Melanie DiLorenzo.
