The 2018 Old Settlers Music Festival took place April 19 through April 22, 2018. The festival features acoustic jazz and blues, bluegrass, local favorites, and award-winning artists from around the world. The first Old Settler's Bluegrass Festival was held in 1988 at Old Settler's Park in Round Rock, Texas. A move in venue brought about a name change, removing the Bluegrass designation and opening the lineup to more possibilities. This year the fest moved from its most recent home in Driftwood, TX to a ranch in Tilmon, TX outside of Lockhart. Old Settler's has always been known for its family friendly atmosphere. The new location for the music festival has given much need space for more family camping areas, arts and crafts space, and kids' activities.
