Classic rock filled the air on July 31, 2017, as three acts of epic old-school rock royalty brought their United We Rock tour to the stage at the HEB Center in Cedar Park, Texas. The acts, REO Speedwagon, Styx, and Don Felder entertained the ageless crowd with songs straight from the heart of their youth. REO Speedwagon REO Speedwagon was formed in 1967 when keyboardist Neal Doughty and college friends Alan Gratzer, Mike Blair and Joe Matt started to jam together in the dorms at University of Illnois. The band was named after a flat bed truck Doughty studied in school. How about a second legendary band from the same era playing even more great hits during the same show. That was the case on August 27, 2014 as the one and only Chicago was joined on tour by the equally extraordinary REO Speedwagon for an evening of hit after glorious hit performed on the stage of the Cedar Park Center, just outside of Austin, Texas.
