Covering the Limelight in ATX

The music was as hot as the weather when country music superstars Lady Antebellum rolled in Austin, Texas as part of their latest tour. The multi-award winning trio performed to a packed house of country music fans at the Austin 360 Amphitheater at Circuit of the Americas on Thursday, July 16, 2015 as part of the Wheels Up Tour, supporting their 5th album, 747.   Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley, and Dave Haywood thrilled their audience with performances of mega-hit after mega-hit including “Bartender,” “American Honey,” “I Run To You,” “Need You Now,” and “We Owned The Night” as well as covers like “Walk This Way.” Proving that their hearts are as big as their talents, Lady Antebellum donated a portion of all ticket proceeds from this show to the Austin Disaster Relief Network to assist those affected by the devastating Memorial Day Floods here in Central Texas. The 1st ever iHeart Radio Country Festival rolled into Austin on March 29, 2014 for one extraordinary night of country music. The fest was held at the University of Texas' Frank Erwin Center. The festival was the first major event for the new partnership between clear Channel and CMT. The concert was broadcast over many of Clear Channel's radio stations as well as their iHeart Radio app and streamed on CTM.com. An impressive lineup of many of Country Music's current hit-makers entertained the sellout crowd: Eric Church, Jake Owen, Dan and Shay, Lady Antebellum, Florida Georgia Line, Hunter Hayes, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldine, and Luke Bryan. Each artist performed 4 to 6 of their most popular songs for the very vocal crowd of fans.
