Rock of Ages Rocks ACL Live



The Tony Award-nominated musical Rock of Ages stopped by Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater on November 25, 2018, as part of their 10th Anniversary Tour.

Rock of Ages was nominated for five Tony Awards including Best Musical and features classic rock songs of the 1980's, especially songs from the famous glam metal bands of that decade. The show features songs from Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Steve Perry, Poison, and Europe. The musical play first opened on Broadway in NYC in 2009 and continued on until January 2015.

Blue October


One of Austin and Central Texas' favorite bands, Blue October stopped by Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater on November 23, 2018 to perform for a packed house.

Blue October is an alternative rock band formed in 1995 by Justin Furstenfeld, his brother Jeremy Furstenfeld, and Ryan Delahoussaye. Blue October released their first album, The Answers, in 1998. Blue October has now produced their ninth studio album, I Hope You're Happy, which was released in August 2018.

Kitten

Opening for Blue October was Kitten. Kitten is an indie rock band formed in Los Angeles in 2009. The band is fronted by Chloe Chaidez. The band released their first EP in 2010 and their self-titled debut album in 2014.
