The 1st ever iHeart Radio Country Festival rolled into Austin on March 29, 2014 for one extraordinary night of country music. The fest was held at the University of Texas' Frank Erwin Center. The festival was the first major event for the new partnership between clear Channel and CMT. The concert was broadcast over many of Clear Channel's radio stations as well as their iHeart Radio app and streamed on CTM.com. An impressive lineup of many of Country Music's current hit-makers entertained the sellout crowd: Eric Church, Jake Owen, Dan and Shay, Lady Antebellum, Florida Georgia Line, Hunter Hayes, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldine, and Luke Bryan. Each artist performed 4 to 6 of their most popular songs for the very vocal crowd of fans.
