The Grammy Award-winning rock band TOTO took to the stage at Stubb's BBQ's Waller Creek Amphitheater on August 15, 2018, as part of their 40 Trips Around The Sun Tour.  This tour is to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of the band's debut album. Singer songwriter Kat Edmonson brought her jazz and vintage pop-influenced sound to the stage of Austin city Limits Live at the Moody Theater on May 19, 2018. Edmonson is touring in support of her recently released fourth studio album Old Fashioned Gal . The Houston-born singer started writing songs at a very young age. After college, Edmonson came to Austin to pursue a career in music. In 2002 Kat auditioned for Season two of American Idol. She made it into the Top 48 of the competition before being sent home to Austin, where she spent time performing in the local club scene. Kat Edmonson released her debut album " Take To The Sky " in 2009. Kat's fourth and latest album, " Old Fashioned Gal " was released earlier this year.
