Covering the Limelight in ATX

Classic rock legends Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers brought their North American Tour: The Summer of Living Dangerously to the Austin360 Amphitheater at the Circuit of the Americas on May 27, 2018. Steely Dan Grammy award-winning rock band Steely Dan has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide since its founding in 1972 by Walter Becker and Donald Fagen. Although the band disbanded in 1981, fans kept the group together and the group reunited in 1993. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. Sadly, Becker passed away in 2017, leaving Donald Fagen as the only original member. Aaron Franklin's Second Annual Hot Luck Food and Music Fest took place in Austin, Texas over four days,  May 24 - 27, 2018. Hot Luck is the latest food festival to hit ATX. It was created and founded by James Beard award-winning chef (and local barbeque pitmaster) Aaron Franklin, Mohawk nightclub owner James Moody, and Feast Portland co-founder Mike Thelin. The fest featured chefs from Austin and around the country grilling up some of their latest creations as well as other specialities. A portion of the proceeds from the festival benefitted The SAFE Alliance. Limelight Imaging was on hand to cover the food aspects of the festival.
