The Tony Award-nominated musical Rock of Ages stopped by Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater on November 25, 2018, as part of their 10th Anniversary Tour. Rock of Ages Rock of Ages Rock of Ages John-Michael Breen of Rock of Ages Rock of Ages Rock of Ages was nominated for five Tony Awards including Best Musical and features classic rock songs of the 1980's, especially songs from the famous glam metal bands of that decade. The show features songs from Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Steve Perry, Poison, and Europe. The musical play first opened on Broadway in NYC in 2009 and continued on until January 2015. One of Austin and Central Texas' favorite bands, Blue October stopped by Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater on November 23, 2018 to perform for a packed house.  Justin Furstenfeld Blue October is an alternative rock band formed in 1995 by Justin Furstenfeld, his brother Jeremy Furstenfeld, and Ryan Delahoussaye. Blue October released their first album, The Answers , in 1998.
