Sia Performs At Frank Erwin Center

Sia performed at the University of Texas Frank Erwin Center on November 6, 2016, as part of her This Is Acting Tour. This was the final stop on her first North American tour in five years.

The show was not just Sia donning her signature blond and black wig while singing her hits, as is the case with many other acts; this was Performance Art. Sia began the show center stage in what appeared to be a huge, white ruffled skirt. But looks can be deceiving, as we found out when the ruffles turned into her dance troop, featuring 14 year old Maddie Ziegler, the former star of "Dance Moms."

After the first song, Sia was transported to the back of stage right and let her dancers take over center stage as they performed interpretive dance created by choreographer Ryan Heffington. Sia remained in the background as she performed songs from her 2016 album This Is Acting as well as previous albums.
