The alternative rock band Dinosaur Jr stopped by Austin City Limits- Live at the Moody Theater on September 16, 2016. They are touring in support of their latest album, Give A Glimpse Of What Yer Not, released on August 5, 2016.

Dinosaur Jr, formed in 1984 as Dinosaur, disbanded in 1997, but reformed in 2005 with its original members. Give A Glimpse Of What Yer Not is the bands fourth album release since getting back together.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra TSO combined the 3P's - Passion, Power, and Pyro - to present an unforgettable evening of entertainment for the enthusiastic audience. As in past performances, TSO held nothing back. The musicians were top-notch rock artists bringing their individual persons to the stage with each number and the vocalists knew exactly when to belt out a note or hold back to present just the right feeling. The scenes for each number were perfectly set with pyrotechnics, lasers, and even manufactured snow falling on the audience seated on the floor. Champions as well as newcomers put on an exhibition of power and showmanship, each trying to garner the enthusiasm of the crowd to help their cause.
