This was actually the second of two packed houses for Lauper in Austin, as she had appeared at the venue the previous night to record an episode of the highly acclaimed PBS series Austin City Limits.

At 63, Cyndi Lauper is still sounding and looking great. Her pink cotton-candy colored hair showed she is still the same girl who brought us songs like She Bop and Girls Just Want To Have Fun. The setlist was a blend of songs from Detour and several of Lauper's enduring hits. This show had a very theatrical feel to it as Lauper incorporated props including a suitcase, a trunk, and even a stick-horse as she traveled through her setlist on the way to final encore, a beautiful a cappella rendition of her classic hit True Colors.
