Crystal Castles at Emo's

The Electro-punk band Crystal Castles stopped by Emo's in Austin on September 14, 2016 for a show. Crystal Castles is on tour in support of their new album Amnesty (I).

Edith Frances and Ethan Kath of Crystal Castles

Crystal Castles was formed in 2003 in Toronto, Canada by songwriter/producer Ethan Kath.  Edith Frances joined the group in 2015 as the lead singer, replacing long-time lead singer Alice Glass.  In addition to Frances on vocals and Kath on instruments, the group includes Christopher Chartrand on drums.

The world-renowned rock band Trans-Siberian Orchestra performed at the Frank Erwin Center at the University of Texas at Austin on December 20, 2018.  The group is celebrating their 20th year of touring with an all-new production of The Ghosts of Christmas Eve - the Best of TSO and More. Trans-Siberian Orchestra TSO combined the 3P's - Passion, Power, and Pyro - to present an unforgettable evening of entertainment for the enthusiastic audience. As in past performances, TSO held nothing back. The musicians were top-notch rock artists bringing their individual persons to the stage with each number and the vocalists knew exactly when to belt out a note or hold back to present just the right feeling. The scenes for each number were perfectly set with pyrotechnics, lasers, and even manufactured snow falling on the audience seated on the floor. Fists flew and bodies flung through the air on Monday, April 6, 2015 as the WWE brought Monday Night RAW to the Frank Erwin Center. Champions as well as newcomers put on an exhibition of power and showmanship, each trying to garner the enthusiasm of the crowd to help their cause. WWE ring was center court at Frank Erwin Center Jim Noble, Kane, Seth Rollins, Joey Mercury, and Big Show fire up the crowd.
