Covering the Limelight in ATX

The 2016 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix roared into Austin's Circuit of the Americas track on October 21 through October 23, 2016. The race was won by #44, Lewis Hamilton of England, racing for the Mercedes AMG Petronas team. Coming in second was #6, German born Nico Rosberg, also racing for the Mercedes team. Third was Daniel Ricciardo, #3, an Australian racing for Red Bull Racing. Limelight Imaging was honored to be there to capture the excitement. Here's what some of the action looked like. The Irish singing group Celtic Thunder brought their Legacy Tour to ACL Live at the Moody Theater on October 24, 2016. Celtic thunder was formed in 2007 in Dublin. They are a musical and theatrical ensemble known around the world for their powerful performances and state-of-he-art production which uses dramatic set pieces, visual effects, and highly choreographed staging. The ensemble consists of 5 male vocalists backed by an 8-piece band.  The vocalists include Neil Byrne, Emmet Cahill, Ryan Kelly, Damian McGinty, and Michael O'Dwyer.   The Celtic Thunder band consists of Dave Bakey (guitar, mandolin, banjo), Seana Davey (harp, concertina), Laura Durrant (cello, double bass), Nicole Hudson (violin), O'Brien (pipes, whistles, bodhran, mandolin), Declan O'Donoghue (drums) and David Munro (piano, musical director).

Music filled the air in downtown Austin on October 23, 2016 as Tour de Compadres featuring NEEDTOBREATHE with Mat Kearney, Parachute, and Welshy Arms performed at the Statesman Skyline Theater at The Long Center.
