Several thousands concertgoers attended the first show for the new venue, some having acquired a "picnic pass" and arriving early with their own food, while others visited the on-site food trucks for their pre-show snacks.

The afternoon temperatures might have started off a little warm for some fans, but The Long Center had plenty of refreshments available and even some air conditioned areas for patrons to relax between sets. (Warm temperatures shouldn't surprise an Austin concergoers. I mean, it is summer in ATX after all.) By the time Boston took to the stage at 8 PM, every one was enjoying the milder weather.

If I would come to this city again, I would be all over these Seattle venues. We ordered Spinach artichoke dip at the server's suggestion and it was absolutely delicious.
