ATX Television Festival Brings Stars To Austin
Stars of past, present, and future television shows were brought together in Austin, Texas June 9 - 12, 2016, for the fifth ATX Television Festival. This one-of-a-kind festival was co-founded by Cailtin McFarland and Emily Gipson to celebrate the television industry and introduce its many facets to the public interested in it.
Reunions, discussion panels, and red carpets popped up all around town as thousands of tv show fans of all ages descended on Austin to catch a glance or possibly even meet their favorite actors and learn from their experiences.
Limelight Imaging was honored to by a part of two of the many events taking place over the weekend: the opening night red carpet event with the cast and producers of USA's Queen of the South" and Series panel participants from "Casual," "Kingdom," "Friday Night Light," and "Superstore" and the "Friday Night Lights" Reunion at Panther Field.

Friday Night Lights Tailgate and Pep Rally
This year marks the 10 year anniversary since the almost-true-to-life story about high school football in Texas, Friday Night Lights, first came on the air.
As any true fan of Friday Night Lights knows, the story took place in the fictional town of Dillon, Texas, but the series was filmed right here in Austin, Texas and neighboring communities.
On Friday, June 10, fans were treated to an old-school high school pep rally and tailgate as many of the stars of Friday Night Lights traveled out to the actual high school football stadium where the series was filmed, Panther Field in Del Valle, Texas. The cast reunion included tours of the locker rooms shown in the series, band performances including series star Jesse Plemons' band Cowboy and Indian, and Q and A interaction on stage.
Here's what the festivities looked like.
