Opening the evening were The Romantics. Formed in 1976, the new wave/power pop band consists of lead vocalist Wally Palmar, lead guitarist Mike Skill, bassist Rich Cole and drummer Brad Elvis.
The Romantics are best known for their hit singles "What I Like About You" and "Talking In Your Sleep."

Next up on the night was Loverboy. This multi-platinum selling Canadian rock group was formed in 1979 and are best remembered for their hits "Turn Me Loose" and "Working For The Weekend." The band members are Mike Reno - lead vocals, Paul Dean - guitar, Matt Frenette - drums, Doug Johnson - keys and sax, and Ken "Spider" Sinnaveve - bass.

His latest feature length film, "Rick and The Flash," was released earlier this year.
