Brad Paisley Brings Country Nation College Tour To Austin

Country superstar Brad Paisley is celebrating the start of another season of college football by traveling across America presenting a series of free concerts on college campuses. The tour is named after Paisley's latest single off of his Moonshine In The Trunk album, "Country Nation."

Paisley made his second stop on the Country Nation Tour at the University of Texas at Austin on September 10, 2015. UT transformed one of the parking lots at UFCU Disch-Faulk Field (UT's baseball complex) into a concert venue to host the show. Over 8,000 tickets were given to UT students, faculty, staff, and the Austin community for this event.

The University of Texas cheer squad and Bevo's alter-ego, Hook 'Em, were on hand to get the crowd revved up for the show. Even rain showers from a passing front could not dampen the crowd's enthusiasm for Paisley's brand of country music.

Paisley entertained the crowd with some of his hits including "Crushin' It," "Moonshine in The Trunk," "Perfect Storm," "Alcohol," and, of course, "Country Nation."

Opening the show for Brad Paisley's Austin stop was a local country artist who has made a big impact nationwide, Pat Green.

Thanks for choosing The University of Texas as one of your stops on the Country Nation College Tour this year, Brad. It was a great show. Have a great tour and come back anytime.

And as we say here in the Longhorn country, Hook 'Em Horns!
