The Grammy Award-winning rock band TOTO took to the stage at Stubb's BBQ's Waller Creek Amphitheater on August 15, 2018, as part of their 40 Trips Around The Sun Tour. This tour is to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of the band's debut album.

TOTO was formed in 1976 in Los Angeles. Their sound is a blend of pop, rock, soul, funk, R&B, blues and jazz. TOTO has released 17 studio albums and sold over 40 million records worldwide since their start. They have won 6 Grammy Awards and were inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum.The group is widely known for their Top 3 hits "Hold The Line," "Rosanna," and "Africa."

The members of TOTO include founding members: Steve Lukather - guitars, backing and lead vocals; David Paich - Keyboards, backing and lead vocals (Paich is not touring at this time for health reasons); Steve Porcaro - Keyboards, backing and lead vocals. Joining the band in 1986: Joseph Williams - lead and backing vocals. Joining TOTO on stage were touring musicians Lenny Castro - percussion, congas; Warren Ham - saxophone, harmonica, flute, backing vocals; Shannon Forest - drums; Shem von Schroeck - bass, backing vocals; Dominique "Xavier"Taplin - keyboards, backing vocals (filling in for David Paich during North American Tour).
