Rock Royalty Visits Austin's Erwin Center

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist Eric Clapton stopped by the Frank Erwin Center at the University of Texas at Austin as part of his North American tour before embarking on the European leg of his tour. The eight tour stops for North America included three in Texas, and several other states across the Southern U.S. before concluding in Florida.

Clapton has a stellar crew of talented musicians forming his band: guitarist Doyle Bramhall II, organist Paul Carrack, bassist Nathan East,, drummers Sonny Emory and Steve Gadd, keyboardist Chris Stainton, and backup singers Sharon White and Katie Kissoon.

Glass Animals Rock The Stage At New Austin Venue

Glass Animals

The British indie rock band Glass Animals helped usher in a new era in the heart of downtown Austin as the band performed at the brand new Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Greenway on September 12, 2021. The band is touring in support of their latest album, Dreamland, which was released in August of 2020, during this dreadful pandemic.

Latin Music Acts Bring Sold Out Crowd To HEB Center

Rising Latin Music artists Los Dos Carnales with special guests Voz de Mando and Los Austeros de Durango performed before a sold out crowd at the HEB Center in Cedar Park, Texas on September 10, 2021.

Los Dos Carnales is a norteƱo quartet from Coahuila, Mexico led by singer and bajo quinto guitarist Alfonso "Poncho" Quezada and his brother accordionist and harmony singer Imanol Quezada. Joining them are bassist Armando Hernandez, drummer Kevin Montemayor Marquez and Ruben Cabral.

Primus Performs Classic Rush Album For Austin Audience

The American funk metal band Primus brought their "A Tribute To Kings" Tour to the stage at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater on September 9, 2021. As a tribute to the legendary rock band, Primus performed Rush's album A Farwell To Kings in its entirety.
