Rain - Tribute To The Beatles

On April 3 the audience at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater traveled back to a simpler time, 1967 to be exact. The "summer of love" was in full swing and these four guys from England were ruling the charts with their eighth studio album.  The band: The Beatles. The music: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Rain - A Tribute To The Beatles brought their psychedelic multimedia spectacular to ACL Live to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic Sgt. Pepper's album by performing it in its entirety.

 The band began in 1975 as Reign, playing original music and Beatles covers. They have been touring for many years. Rain has a large cast of excellent musicians who have performed as part of this tribute band over the years, each taking on the persona of one of the original Fab four. For this performance we saw Steve Landes as John Lennon, Paul Curatolo as Paul McCartney, Alastar McNeil as Geroge Harrison, and Aaron Chiazza as Ringo Starr.
