Blink-182 performed at the Austin360 Amphitheater at the Circuit of the Americas on March 22, 2017. The Container Bar played host to one of many SXSW 2017 music events on March 17, 2017 with Dr Martens presents Collide. Headlining the afternoon of music was the indie pop band from New York, The Drums. If you haven't had a chance to visit the Container Bar, you need to; it's constructed from shipping containers. The weather was absolute perfection on March 16, 2017 as the annual Willie Nelson Luck Reunion music fest took place on the grounds of Willie's ranch just outside of Austin in Spicewood, Texas. Luck, Texas Luck, Texas The event ran all day and late into the night, with 35 country, rock, and indie acts filling the three stages. The evening performances featured Willie (The rumors of his frail health and impending death are definitely NOT true. He is doing just fine.) and his family, including sons Lukas and Micah with their respective bands, Promise of the Real and Insects vs Robots. Luck, Texas Luck, Texas is an old western town built on Willie's ranch for the filming of the movie "Red Headed Stranger." The set includes a saloon, a general store, and a church.
