Boy George and Culture Club Bring Color To Hot Summer Night

The 1980's new-wave pop icons boy George and Culture Club hit the stage of the Statesman Skyline Theater at the Long Center on August 2, 2016, for an evening of colorful nostalgia. The band is on a tour of the United States.

Boy George is accompanied by other three original members of Culture Club: bassist Mickey Craig, guitarist/keyboardist Roy Hay, and drummer Jon Moss.


In addition, Culture Club was joined on stage by a very talented touring band which included a horns section, a second drum kit and a trio a soulful backup singers.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra TSO combined the 3P's - Passion, Power, and Pyro - to present an unforgettable evening of entertainment for the enthusiastic audience. As in past performances, TSO held nothing back. The musicians were top-notch rock artists bringing their individual persons to the stage with each number and the vocalists knew exactly when to belt out a note or hold back to present just the right feeling. Champions as well as newcomers put on an exhibition of power and showmanship, each trying to garner the enthusiasm of the crowd to help their cause.
