It's Summer in Austin, Texas and several things are considered to be normal happenings here at this time of year: 1. Each afternoon, temperatures climb to somewhere near the century mark as the sun blazes through our cloudless blue sky. 2. Each evening, millions of Mexican free-tail bats soar through the sky as they leave the Congress Avenue Bridge in downtown Austin and travel over hundreds of miles in search of dinner. 3. Every day, thousands of locals and tourists beat the sweltering summer heat by diving into the refreshingly cool 68-degree waters of our favorite spring-fed oasis, Barton Springs Pool. 4. Each weekend, high-quality musical theater rocks the Zilker Hillside Theater across from Barton Springs as Zilker Theater Productions presents their annual Zilker Summer Musical. This marks the 57th year of the Zilker Summer Musical and, once again, the production is a magnificent success. This time around Director Robert Tolaro and his very talented cast are present...
