The Canadian rock band Barenaked Ladies hit the stage at Austin City Limits - Live at the Moody Theater on October 24, 2013. Austin might be known as the Live Music Capital of the World, but another great activity, motor racing, is quickly making its mark on our fair city by drawing hundreds of thousands of enthusiastic fans from around the globe to a new state of the art venue. It was just under one year ago when the Circuit of the Americas race track made its debut in Elroy, Texas, a sleepy little town just on the outskirts of southeast Austin. Naysayers wondered why it was logical to spend millions of dollars building a special race track for an event which would take place once a year. Organizers said there would be more possibilities to take advantage of during the other 11 months of the year, and they were right. On Saturday, October 19, 2013, John Fogerty performed to an enthusiastic crowd at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater. Fogerty is best known as the lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted band Creedence Clearwater Revival.  Fogerty and his band played an extensive set which included music from his time as a member of Creedence Clearwater Revival and his solo career.  To start off the show, Fogerty played CCR's 1970 album  Cosmo's Factory in its entirety. This was followed by hits from many albums including Creedence Clearwater Revival released in 1968, Bayou Country, Green River, and Willy and The Poor Boys,  which were all released in 1969, Pendulum  released in 1970, and four of Fogery's solo albums- Centerfield , John Fogerty , Blue Moon Swamp , and Wrote A Song For Everyone. On Thursday, Oct 17, 2013, Limelight Imaging was honored to cover the Eighth Annual Andy Roddick Foundation Charity Gala held at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater. This years musical entertainment for the event was provided by the one and only Sir Elton John.  The Andy Roddick Foundation was founded in 2000 by tennis pro Andy Roddick. The foundation, based in Austin, Texas is focused on providing after-school programs for underserved youth in the community. "ARF believes talent is universal but opportunity is not, and by focusing on character development and values such as honor, respect, dignity and duty, their goal is to provide all children a support system that gives them hope for a brighter future." They are currently constructing a state-of-the-art facility in Austin which will provide more than 10,000 square feet of computer labs, meeting and mentoring rooms, office space, a nutrition and physical education center, and eight lighted tennis courts. ...

Austin City Limits Music Festival 2013 What do you get when you combine 130 incredible musical acts, 3 days of phenomenal Central Texas Fall weather, 75,000 enthusiastic music fans per day, and a picturesque 351 acre park located in the heart of the “Live Music Capital of the World?” The only possible answer to this question: The 12 th annual Austin City Limits Music Festival.
