The English progressive rock band Alan Parsons Project was active between 1975 and 1990. The band's core members were engineer and producer Alan Parsons and singer-songwriter/composer Eric Woolfson. Although Parsons has continued to produce, engineer and perform over the years, Woolfson passed away in 2009. The band has always included a revolving line-up of musicians and artists performing conceptual albums.
