The band's core members were engineer and producer Alan Parsons and singer-songwriter/composer Eric Woolfson. Although Parsons has continued to produce, engineer and perform over the years, Woolfson passed away in 2009. The band has always included a revolving line-up of musicians and artists performing conceptual albums. The 2018 version of the Austin City Limits Music Festival took place on two weekends: October 5 -7 and October 12 - 14, 2018, in beautiful Zilker Park in downtown Austin, Texas.  The festival brought tens of thousands of attendees, 8 stages and over 130 acts to the "Live Music Capital of the World."
