Yah Mon! Reggae Takes Over Austin's Auditorium Shores

The Austin Reggae Festival benefiting the Central Texas Food Bank took place in downtown Austin, Texas on April 14, 15, and 16, 2017. Founded in 1994, over the last decade the event has raised more than $1,000,000 to help feed hungry families in the Central Texas area.

The fest's website describes the event as "our annual celebration of spring sunshine, dub music, delicious international food, hand-made arts and crafts, as well as community-focused compassion." Unfortunately, that spring sunshine isn't always the case here in Austin (with last year's festival having been rained out), but despite a few showers here and there, this year's fest went off without too many hiccups.

Limelight Imaging stopped by the fest on Saturday, April 15, 2017,  to check out the fun.

Keeping Austin Beautiful & Weird

With the festival taking place in downtown Austin at Auditorium Shores on the edge of Lady Bird Lake on a beautifully sunny afternoon and evening, we couldn't help but capture a few shots of the activities outside of the festival grounds.
