On April 30, 2019, "The Red Rocker," Sammy Hagar stopped by Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater with his band The Circle for a sold out show on day one of a two night event as part of their Full Circle Jam Tour. Sammy Hagar and The Circle is an English-American rock super group consisting of four of the biggest names in rock music. The group has been performing together since 2014, but several of the members have performed together in other groups. Frontman Sammy Hagar is an American rock vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, musician, and entrepreneur. Sammy began his career in the music industry in the 1970s with the hard rock band Montrose. After a highly successful solo career, Hagar joined Van Halen, replacing David Lee Roth as the band's lead singer from 1985 until 1996.
