Rock Royalty Visits Austin's Erwin Center

  Eric Clapton Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist Eric Clapton stopped by the Frank Erwin Center at the University of Texas at Austin as part of his North American tour before embarking on the European leg of his tour. The Clifford Antone Foundation and IBC Bank presented the 2018 edition of Help Clifford Help Kids benefiting American YouthWorks on November 8, 2018, at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater. The program featured an auction, dinner, awards ceremony, and special musical entertainment headlined by blues legend Jimmie Vaughan. The Clifford Antone Foundation is an Austin non-profit dedicated to honoring Austin's past music culture by caring for our elders and investing in the future by helping the youth. The foundation continues to honor the legacy of its name sake, Austin blues club legend, Clifford Antone. American YouthWorks is an Austin-based non-profit focused on building brighter futures and stronger communities through education, career training, and service to others.
