The Metal Tour of the Year stormed into Austin's Germania Insurance Amphitheater at the Circuit of the Americas on August 20, 2021 for the first stop on their North American tour. The tour featured Megadeath and Lamb of God with special guests Trivium and Hatebreed. The world-renowned heavy metal rock band Lamb of God and six-time Grammy nominated trasher metal band Anthrax dropped by ACL Live at the Moody Theater for a sold-out show on February 8, 2016. Lamb of God is touring in support of their latest studio album, VII: Strum Und Drang, which debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 chart. The sound of hard-core metal music exploded through the night sky in Austin on September 2, 2015, as the Summer's Last Stand Tour featuring Slipknot, Lamb of God, and Bullet For My Valentine rocked the Austin 360 Amphitheater at Circuit of the Americas. Frontman Corey Taylor of Slipknot In what some have described as "controlled chaos," Slipknot entertained the crowd with their brand of high-energy metal while donning their signature clown and horror themed masks.
