30th Anniversary Old Settler's Music Festival
The 30th Anniversary Old Settler's Music Festival took place in Driftwood, Texas on April 20 - 23, 2017. Driftwood, a small, predominantly rural community just south of Austin, is best known as home to a scattering of wineries and one of the best BBQ restaurants in the state - The Salt Lick.
The four-day family-friendly party featured on-site camping, four stages in two venue areas, thirty-one musical acts, a youth talent competition, workshops, and, of course, lots of food and arts and crafts for every age.
Stages were set by day of the week in two areas; Thursday and Sunday saw music fans watching acts on the Campground stage at Camp Ben McCulloch (organized in 1896 as reunion camp for Confederate veterans, Friday and Saturday saw fans flocking to the Bluebonnet, Hill Country and Discovery stages on the grounds of The Salt Lick Pavilion.
Limelight Imaging was on hand to capture some of the action on Saturday and Sunday. Here's what it looked like.
