Rick Springfield Celebrates BOB FM's Birthday

There's nothing like a great birthday party to get people excited and when the "Birthday Boy" is a fan-favorite radio station, well, there's bound to be some awesome music associated with that party. Such was the case when local radio station 103.5 Bob FM, whose mantra is "We Play Anything," celebrated there 11th birthday on October 22, 2015 at the Cedar Park Center with a special bash featuring Loverboy, The Romantics and Rick Springfield. Opening the evening were The Romantics. Formed in 1976, the new wave/power pop band consists of lead vocalist Wally Palmar, lead guitarist Mike Skill, bassist Rich Cole and drummer Brad Elvis. The Romantics are best known for their hit singles "What I Like About You" and "Talking In Your Sleep."
