Psychedelic Furs Play Emo's

The legendary English rock band the Psychedelic Furs stopped by Emo's in Austin, Texas on March 29, 2017, to entertain a packed house.  This was the opening night of their 13-date  U.S. tour.

The Pshchedleic Furs were first formed in England in 1977 by brothers Richard and Tim Butler. Their first album was released in 1980, but the band did not come into prominence in the U.S. until their song "Pretty In Pink" was used in the movie by the same name.

The line up has changed during the years with the band taking a couple of breaks along the way. Band members today include lead vocalist Richard Butler, bassist Tim Butler, guitarist Rich Good, saxophonist Mars Williams, keyboardist Amanda Kramer, and drummer Paul Garisto.
