Grumpy Cat Returns To ATX To Promote New Friskies Cat Food Line

The most disgruntled feline in the world, Grumpy Cat, dropped  by the Interactive portion of Austin' s SXSW on March 12, 2016 to introduce the world to another new line of cat food. Grumpy Cat and several of her friends visited Austin last year during SXSW to introduce Friskies Bacon Flavored cat foods. This year the pop culture phenom came by herself. Tardar Sauce, AKA Grumpy Cat, and her owner, Tabatha Bundesen, came to Austin to promote Purina Friskies newest cat food line, Cat Concoctions.  The favors are a mashup of "unexpected flavors that only a cat could think up: Chicken in Creamy Crabby Sauce, Cod in Cheesy Bacon Flavored Sauce, Lamb in Clam Flavored Sauce, and Scrumptious Salmon and Chicken Liver Dinner Pate. SXSW: Friskies Presents HAUS of BACON

Yes, you read that correctly. Friskies, one of the leading manufactures of pet food in the nation, stopped by Austin's SXSW Interactive Festival to introduce the world to a new line of canned cat food, Tasty Treasures accented with Real Bacon . To make sure everyone knew real bacon was included in the cat food, all of the human guests were treated to yummy bites of people food featuring bacon. The candied bacon was especially tasty. On hand to help introduce the new line of cat food were some of Friskies favorite spokescats: Grumpy Cat, Nala Cat, Waffles, and Oskar the Blind Cat and his brother Klaus. Also on hand was San Francisco artist, Jason Mecier who was asked by Friskies to create art work featuring their spokescats. Jason used packaging and labels from Friskies Tasty Tresures for some of the pieces and real bacon and dry cat food for the others. The pieces of art work were very creative to say the least. Eric Clapton Wraps Up Great SXSW Music Week In Austin

Austin’s week long music showcase, SXSW 2013, featuring thousands of artists from around the globe as well as countless local talent all performing every possible music genre known to mankind, finally came to an end on March 17. After all of the phenomenal talent displayed in our fine city during this crazy festival, which artist would be worthy enough to showcase as the finale with one last mega-show? One thing is for certain when it comes to Austin and the SXSW Music Fest, every day and every night there is going to be a party happening somewhere. One of the biggest parties this year was the 6th annual Perez Hilton "One Night in Austin" mega party held on March 16, 2013 at the Austin Music Hall. Perez and his friends have turned this opportunity to get together into more than just a good time. mtvU Woodie Awards and Music Festival

Last week Austin was inundated with musicians and music fans from around the globe as the ever-growing music festival portion of South by Southwest (SXSW) hit the streets and venues of The Live Music Capital of the World. Music filled the air and every piece of real estate possible. Limelight Imaging was on the scene to capture the 9th annual mtvU Woodie Awards and Music Festival on March 14, 2013. The 8 hour plus outdoor show featured live performances from several of the award winners and nominees. It was also recorded for broadcast on MTV. The Lonely Biscuits open 2013 mtvU Woodie Awards Music Fest   The festival kicked off at 2 PM with a performance by The Lonely Biscuits from Belmont University. They were honored with the first Chevrolet Sonic College Artist Woodie as the Best Emerging College Artist.
