Grumpy Cat Returns To ATX To Promote New Friskies Cat Food Line

The most disgruntled feline in the world, Grumpy Cat, dropped  by the Interactive portion of Austin' s SXSW on March 12, 2016 to introduce the world to another new line of cat food. Grumpy Cat and several of her friends visited Austin last year during SXSW to introduce Friskies Bacon Flavored cat foods. This year the pop culture phenom came by herself. Tardar Sauce, AKA Grumpy Cat, and her owner, Tabatha Bundesen, came to Austin to promote Purina Friskies newest cat food line, Cat Concoctions.  The favors are a mashup of "unexpected flavors that only a cat could think up: Chicken in Creamy Crabby Sauce, Cod in Cheesy Bacon Flavored Sauce, Lamb in Clam Flavored Sauce, and Scrumptious Salmon and Chicken Liver Dinner Pate. SXSW: Friskies Presents HAUS of BACON

Yes, you read that correctly. Friskies, one of the leading manufactures of pet food in the nation, stopped by Austin's SXSW Interactive Festival to introduce the world to a new line of canned cat food, Tasty Treasures accented with Real Bacon . To make sure everyone knew real bacon was included in the cat food, all of the human guests were treated to yummy bites of people food featuring bacon. The candied bacon was especially tasty. On hand to help introduce the new line of cat food were some of Friskies favorite spokescats: Grumpy Cat, Nala Cat, Waffles, and Oskar the Blind Cat and his brother Klaus. Also on hand was San Francisco artist, Jason Mecier who was asked by Friskies to create art work featuring their spokescats. Jason used packaging and labels from Friskies Tasty Tresures for some of the pieces and real bacon and dry cat food for the others. The pieces of art work were very creative to say the least.
