Dennis DeYoung and The Music of Styx with Night Ranger

Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater was filled with the sounds of rock classics from the 1970s and 1980s on June 1, 2018 when the founder of Styx, Dennis DeYoung, brought his latest band and friends, Night Ranger, to Austin for a show.

Dennis DeYoung has had a career spanning 40 + years. He was one of the founding members of the rock group Styx. He was the group's lead singer and the writer of 7 of their Top 10 hits.

Celebrating their 35th anniversary, Night Ranger has sold over 17 million albums worldwide. The multi-platinum selling group has produced several songs which have significantly impacted pop culture. They were also one of the first big "video bands" with over 10 #1 videos on MTV.

Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers

Classic rock legends Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers brought their North American Tour: The Summer of Living Dangerously to the Austin360 Amphitheater at the Circuit of the Americas on May 27, 2018.

Grammy award-winning rock band Steely Dan has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide since its founding in 1972 by Walter Becker and Donald Fagen. Although the band disbanded in 1981, fans kept the group together and the group reunited in 1993. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. Sadly, Becker passed away in 2017, leaving Donald Fagen as the only original member.
