Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators



Guitar greatness was evident on September 24, 2018, when Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators and special guest Eric Tessmer performed before a packed house at Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater.  Slash and company are touring in support of their new album Living The Dream.

Slash is best known as the lead guitarist for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band Guns N' Roses. After leaving GNR in 1996, Slash co-founded Velvet Revolver. In recent years he has mainly pursued a solo career besides a stint touring with GNR in 2016. He most recently released his third solo album Living The Dream with his band Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators.

In addition to lead guitarist Slash the band includes Myles Kennedy as lead vocalist, Todd Kerns on bass, Frank Sidoris on rhythm guitar, and Brent Fitz on drums.

Eric Tessmer

Opening for Slash and Myles Kennedy was Austin's Eric Tessmer.  Tessmer is an extraordinary guitarist, musician, singer, and songwriter originally from Wisconsin, but now living in ATX.  Tessmer's sound is a blend of Texas Blues and Soul.

Fall Out Boy at Frank Erwin Center



Fall Out Boy brought their punk pop sound to the Frank Erwin Center at the University of Texas at Austin on September 23, 2018, as part of The Mania Tour in support of their seventh album by the same name. Opening for Fall Out Boy were Machine Gun Kelly and Nothing, Nowhere.

Fall Out Boy was formed in 2001 by bassist Pete Wentz and lead guitarist Joe Trohman. Lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Patrick Stump joined the group shortly thereafter.  Drummer Andrew Hurley joined the group in 2003. And the band has been rockin' and entertaining their fans ever since.
