KGSR 26th Anniversary Party

Radio station KGSR knows how to throw a party. This year, to celebrate their 26th anniversary, they invited the public to a concert on December 14, 2016, at ACL Live at the Moody Theater.  This year's lineup included Band of Horses, Kurt Vile and The Violators, and Lucy Dacus.

Lucy Dacus is the lead vocalist and guitarist for her band. also performing with Lucy is Noma Illmensee - bass, backing vocals; Jacob Blizzard - guitar; Tristan Fisher - guitar, backing vocals; and Miles Huffman - drums.

Kurt Vile and The Violators

Kurt Vile and The Violators are an Indie rock band.  The band is lead by singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer Kurt Vile.

The Violators include Jesse Trbovich - guitar, bass, saxophone; Rob Laakso - guitar, bass, keys; and Kyle Spence - drums, percussion.

Band of Horses

Band of Horses is a rock band formed in 2004 in Seattle in Ben Bridwell. The Grammy Award nominated band released their fifth studio album, Why Are You OK,  in June 2016.

In addition to founding member Ben Bridwell (vocals gutiar, pedal steel, and keys), the band includes Creighton Barrett (Drums), Ryan Monroe (Keyboards), Tyler Ramsey (guitar, vocals), Bill Reynolds (bass).
