Coheed and Cambria Light Up Stubb's

The progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria stopped by Stubb's BBQ on September 27, 2016. They are on tour in support of their latest studio album, The Color Before The Sun. This is the band's eighth studio album, but their first not connected to lead vocalist Claudio Sanchez's science fiction story, The Armory Wars. Coheed and Cambria have also released three live albums and several special-edition releases.

Appearing with Coheed and Cambria was Saves The Day. The emo band is headed by lead vocalist/guitarist Chris Conley. Joining Conley is guitarist Arun Bali, bassist Rodrigo Palma, and drummer Dennis Wilson.

Polyphia

Opening the evening was Polyphia. Polyphia is an instrumental progressive metal band from Dallas, Texas.  The band consists of guitarist Tim Henson, guitarist Scott LePage, bassist Clay Gober and touring drummer Clay Aeschliman.
