Seu Jorge Tribute to David Bowie

Brazilian musician, singer, songwriter, and actor Seu Jorge stopped by Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater on December 4, 2016, as part of his current tour, The Life Aquatic: Tribute to David Bowie. The tribute features some of David Bowie's classic songs adapted into Portuguese and performed by Seu Jorge.

Seu Jorge rose to international fame in the Wes Anderson film The Life Aquatic where he performed several of Bowie's songs in the film.

The world-renowned rock band Trans-Siberian Orchestra performed at the Frank Erwin Center at the University of Texas at Austin on December 20, 2018.  The group is celebrating their 20th year of touring with an all-new production of The Ghosts of Christmas Eve - the Best of TSO and More. Trans-Siberian Orchestra TSO combined the 3P's - Passion, Power, and Pyro - to present an unforgettable evening of entertainment for the enthusiastic audience. As in past performances, TSO held nothing back. The musicians were top-notch rock artists bringing their individual persons to the stage with each number and the vocalists knew exactly when to belt out a note or hold back to present just the right feeling. The scenes for each number were perfectly set with pyrotechnics, lasers, and even manufactured snow falling on the audience seated on the floor. Fists flew and bodies flung through the air on Monday, April 6, 2015 as the WWE brought Monday Night RAW to the Frank Erwin Center. Champions as well as newcomers put on an exhibition of power and showmanship, each trying to garner the enthusiasm of the crowd to help their cause.
