The Irish singing group Celtic Thunder brought their Legacy Tour to ACL Live at the Moody Theater on October 24, 2016.
Celtic thunder was formed in 2007 in Dublin. They are a musical and theatrical ensemble known around the world for their powerful performances and state-of-he-art production which uses dramatic set pieces, visual effects, and highly choreographed staging.
The ensemble consists of 5 male vocalists backed by an 8-piece band. The vocalists include Neil Byrne, Emmet Cahill, Ryan Kelly, Damian McGinty, and Michael O'Dwyer.
The Celtic Thunder band consists of Dave Bakey (guitar, mandolin, banjo), Seana Davey (harp, concertina), Laura Durrant (cello, double bass), Nicole Hudson (violin), O'Brien (pipes, whistles, bodhran, mandolin), Declan O'Donoghue (drums) and David Munro (piano, musical director).
