Legendary rocker Peter Frampton stopped by Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater on May 24, 2016. The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter is celebration his latest album,
Acoustic Classics, featuring stripped-down versions of some of his classic hits like "Baby, I Love Your Way" and "Show Me The Way." He is also celebrating the 40th anniversary of his 1976 multi-platinum selling release,
Frampton Comes Alive!. To this day, it is still one of the top selling live albums of all time.
Growing up in England, Frampton attended the same school as David Bowie. At the young age of 14, he joined the band The Herd. At 18 he became a founding member of Humble Pie. Frampton decided to go solo in 1971, and released four solo albums in the next four years with limited success. Then in 1976 his highly successful live album,
Frampton Comes Alive!, was released. Frampton's 2016 release,
Acoustic Classics, is his 18th album.
Frampton was awarded a Grammy in 2006 for Best Pop Instrumental Album for
Fingerprints. He has been honored with several other nominations over the years. In 1976 he was awarded with Billboard Magazine's Artist of the Year.
Members of Frampton's band include Rob Arthur - keyboards, guitar and vocals, Adam Lester - guitar and vocals, Paul Peterson - bass and vocals, and Dan Wojciechowski - drums.

Peter Frampton is currently touring the country performing at amphitheaters with a full band with Gregg Allman or Lynyrd Skynyrd and also solo acoustic shows.
