Warren Haynes Packs Emo's

Grammy Award-winning singer/guitarist Warren Haynes stopped by Emo's in Austin, Texas on February 19, 2016, with The Ashes and  Dust Band for a sold out show. Haynes is on a world tour in support of his latest album,  Ashes and Dust. The album, which had been in the works for a long time, is largely acoustic solo endeavor, showing a different side of Haynes than many fans are familiar with. Even so, it has garnered high praise from those in the industry.

While Haynes has performed with groups such as The Allman Brothers Band and The Dead, he is probably best known as the guitarist/vocalist for Gov't Mule. Haynes has not abandoned his roots. In fact he will be touring with Gov't Mule in April of this year and has dates set with Phil Lesh and Friends as well as the Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration later this year.
