Vance Joy And Elle King AT Stubb's

Vance Joy warmed up Austin audiences for SXSW 2016 with two sold-out shows at Stubb's BBQ on March 8 and 9, just prior to the opening of the Interactive, Film and Music Festival.








Vance Joy is an Australian singer-songwriter whose debut album Dream Your Life Away produced his hit single, "Riptide," which reached #1 on Billboard's Alternative and Rock Airplay charts.

Elle King is an American singer-songwriter, and actress, as well as the daughter of actor Rob Schneider. Her music blends country, soul, rock, and blues.








Elle is only the second female in 20 years to achieve #1 on billboard Alternative chart.
Her hit single "Ex's and Oh's" from her debut album Love Stuff  reached the Top 10 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart as well as earned Elle 2 Grammy nominations.














Opening on the evening was Jamie Lawson.
