Margo Price Concert Benefits Texas Hill Country


The 12th Annual Hill Country Nights Gala and Concert benefiting the Hill Country Conservancy took place at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater on September 7, 2018.  This year's concert featured Margo Price with Hayes Carll.





The Hill Country Conservancy is dedicated to preserving the beauty of the Texas Hill Country and its economy.



Margo Price





Margo Price is a country singer and songwriter. She was awarded the Americana Music Award for Emerging Artist in 2016. In 2018 she won the Americana Music award for Song of the Year for "A Little Pain."









Margo has said Austin is one of her favorite places to perform, which is evident from her multiple visits since her debut album dropped in 2016. Margo has been busy making a name for herself in the music world since the release of Midwest Farmer's Daughter.  The singer-songwriter released her critically acclaimed second album in 2017. All American Made was named the #1 country album in 2017 by Rolling Stone Magazine, ahead of Chris Stapleton and Jason Isbell's Grammy winning releases.





















Margo Price is backed by The Price Tags, a six-piece band which includes lead guitarist Jamie Davis, bassist Kevin Black, pedal steel guitarist Luke Schneider, drummer Dillon Napier, harmonica player/guitarist Jeremy Ivey and keyboardist Micah Hulscher.












































Hayes Carll

Opening for Margo Price was Hayes Carll. Hayes is a country and folk singer, songwriter and native Texan. Hayes released his 5th album, Lovers and Leavers, in April 2016. Hayes Carll was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Song in 2016 for "Chances Are" which was recorded by Lee Ann Wommack.
