Help Clifford, Help Kids Gala

The Clifford Antone Foundation presented the 16th annual "Help Clifford, Help Kids" Gala benefiting American YouthWorks at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater on November 10, 2016. The gala featured both live and silent auctions as well as a fabulous concert. The concert featured a great line-up of female artists including Irma Thomas, Marcia Ball, Emily Gimble, and Georgia Bramhall.

Emily Gimble is an award winning keyboardist and the granddaughter of legendary fiddle player Johnny Gimble. She has performed with many notable artists including Asleep At The Wheel.

Georgia Bramhall also comes from a famous family. Her father was Texas blues great Doyle Bramhall. Her brother is blues guitarist Doyle Bramhall II. Beside her gigs with Emily Gimble, Georgia can be found performing  with Tameca Jones, Jimmie Vaughan, and her brother Doyle Bramhall II.

Marcia Ball

Marcia Ball is a blues singer and pianist whose musical style is a mixture of New Orleans boogie, Louisiana swamp rock and Texas blues. The Grammy- nominated Ball has won several Blues Music Awards and is a member of the Austin Music Hall of Fame.

Irma Thomas

Irma Thomas is known as the Soul Queen of New Orleans. With a career spanning over 50 years, Ms Thomas has earned a Grammy Award, two Blues Music Awards and has been inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.
